Hearing Instrument Specialist

Dixon Stopper grew up in the Portland, Oregon area with a love for reading and the outdoors. Helping others has always been a priority for him. Dixon began his career in the world of hearing healthcare in 2008 helping others with occupational hearing loss get their benefits through the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Dixon went on to own his own hearing care practices on the Oregon Coast. Desiring to be closer to family, he moved back to the Vancouver/Portland area. Dixon adopted 3 children from the foster care system, worked with special needs children, and has a huge appreciation for nature.

Dixon wears hearing aids and suffers from tinnitus. He shares his love of the hearing care field with his wife, who also works for HearingLife. His favorite saying is, "Working for HearingLife allows me to do what I love every day: helping people hear better and improving their quality of life!"

Dr. Jennifer Briggs grew up in central California and moved to central Oregon in high school. Volunteering as a poll worker, for Goodwill and as a Big Sister ignited a passion in Jennifer to help others. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in Audiology from Portland State University in 2003 and completed a Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Florida in 2010. Having worked in various settings over the last 20 years, Jennifer continues to enjoy helping others by diagnosing and treating hearing problems. She is a licensed audiologist that dispenses life-changing hearing aids in Oregon and Washington and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys coaching soccer, running 5ks, attending spin workouts and taking Spanish classes.
