Online hearing test

Test yourself: Should I have my hearing checked?

Question 1 – Around the table
Do you have trouble following conversations, when there are 4 or more people present?
Have you received advice from your family or friends to get your hearing tested?
Do you ever struggle to understand what others are saying because you cannot hear properly?
Do you find yourself turning up the TV or radio even when the volume is loud enough for others?

Thank you. Your answers show indications of hearing loss.

We strongly recommend that you book a complimentary hearing assessment* in one of our hearing centers to determine if you have hearing loss.

Your result is only an indication. An in-person, complimentary hearing assessment can determine if you have hearing loss.

The Online Hearing Test does not replace a comprehensive hearing evaluation

While an Online Hearing Test is a valuable way to learn if you might have hearing loss, it does not replace a comprehensive hearing evaluation administered by a certified hearing care expert. An online hearing test can therefore be a good way to decide whether you should go ahead and book an appointment with a hearing care expert.

An Online Hearing Test is a screening test and therefore has a binary pass or fail criteria. This will allow you to understand whether further testing is needed to uncover your hearing ability (by visiting an in-clinic professional for an in-person hearing test).

If the online test does not pick up on any signs of hearing loss and you are still concerned that you might have hearing loss, then we recommend that you contact your local hearing care clinic for a comprehensive hearing evaluation.

Why regular hearing tests are important

Living with untreated hearing loss affects far more than your ability to hear. It may affect your ability to socialize with friends and family, leaving you feeling isolated or lonely.

Hearing loss can also affect your memory and your mental sharpness. It may even increase your risk for cognitive decline.

The good news is that hearing aids can improve your hearing so that you can enjoy engaging in your favorite activities and socializing with friends and family. Today's discreet, comfortable and technologically advanced hearing aids are effective at treating hearing loss, and they can significantly improve your quality of life.
