Dr. Aliza Frankel-Segal, Audiologist, has been interested in audiology since high school when she observed a sign language interpreter at a community event. She was fascinated by how the interpreter enabled the individual with hearing impairment to successfully integrate into the community. This led Dr. Frankel-Segal to pursue a profession that enables individuals to lead successful, fulfilling lives while utilizing cutting- edge technology to achieve it. Dr. Frankel- Segal received her doctorate in Audiology from Montclair State University in 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Communications from Touro College. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Prior to joining HearingLife, Dr. Frankel-Segal worked as a clinical audiologist at HearUSA in Elmhurst, NY. In addition, she was an assistant teacher at the Auditory Oral School of New York, an early intervention preschool for children with hearing difficulties.

Aliza started with info/graph on hearing levels/tones, testing was completed and full review of results and needs. Support staff, Suzanne, quickly gathered info on my insurance and use of my Care Credit account. I was fitted and left with my hearing aids. Aliza offered info, tips, patience with my trials.

I live 6 months a year in Florida and 6 months in Long Island.
I sometimes have to go to either location. While both are fine, Dr. Aliza (spelling) in the Jericho location is terrific. She is professional and friendly. I have recommended her to others and continue to do so.
