What you can expect at a HearingLife hearing center

From your first visit through follow-up care, HearingLife is focused on providing a personalized experience supported by professional expertise, modern testing standards, and ongoing support.

Customized Hearing Care and Hearing Loss Treatment Options

Personalization also applies to our clinical recommendations. Everyone receives a customized treatment plan based on their specific hearing needs, goals, budget and lifestyle. For some, this plan may include hearing devices; for others, it may not. Our providers have access to all major hearing aid brands, allowing us to recommend the best options for you rather than a one‑size‑fits‑all solution.

Insurance coverage can sometimes influence available options, but our dedicated insurance support team works behind the scenes to clearly identify your benefits. HearingLife also accepts CareCredit® to help make hearing aids more affordable. This allows you to make informed decisions about your hearing care with confidence.

When you invest in hearing technology, you deserve the peace of mind that comes from knowing your hearing center will be there long-term, with ongoing customized care and support.

Comprehensive, Individualized Hearing Tests

Standardized hearing evaluations are essential for diagnosing and treating hearing loss. With locations across many states and regions, HearingLife consistently adheres to the highest testing standards, using state-of-the-art equipment to meet and exceed regulatory requirements. In addition to required testing, we perform additional diagnostic measures when appropriate to gain deeper insight into your hearing health. This is something decided by you and your provider to give you the best experience.

Our testing includes:

  • Pure tone air and bone conduction testing
  • Speech audiometry
  • ACT™ or QuickSIN testing
  • Real Ear Measurements (REM)
  • Tympanometry
  • Testing with and without hearing devices to verify benefit
  • Additional assessments or treatments as clinically indicated

Your concerns guide our approach, supported by clear, evidence-based clinical expertise. Even initial hearing aid programming is personalized—some people are comfortable starting at their full prescription immediately, while others benefit from a gradual increase over time. The goal is your comfort and success.

Hearing loss often develops gradually, we believe it makes sense for improvement to happen gradually when needed as well. We are committed to helping everyone optimize their hearing through individualized treatment and ongoing support. This is why follow-up care is so important.

Ongoing Support and Follow‑Up Care

Most customers are seen every six months for prescription checks, device cleaning, and programming adjustments. Comprehensive hearing testing is completed at least once per year, or more frequently if concerns arise. Real Ear Measurements are routinely used to ensure sound is reaching your ear as intended, helping us deliver the best possible outcomes.

If you purchase hearing aids from us, we recommend a follow-up visit during your 30-day trial period. This allows us to make adjustments to your hearing aid programming and discuss any concerns you may have.

Above all, we listen—to your concerns, your preferences, and your comfort level—and adjust your care accordingly.
