Dr. Kimberly Shapiro graduated from Hunter College in 1998 with a master’s degree in Audiology. She returned to school to receive her doctorate degree from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009. Dr. Shapiro has been in practice since 1998, working in several professional settings. These settings included a private hearing aid practice in Riverdale, NY, and a large head and neck surgical group in Manhattan, working with a team of ten ENT physicians, craniofacial specialists and speech-language pathologists. After moving from Manhattan to Long Island, Dr. Shapiro joined Hearing Help Associates (now HearingLife) in September 2008. At HearingLife, Dr. Shapiro continues her passion for changing lives every day for those in need of hearing help using amplification.

Vanessa Escobedo is a New York State Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist who completed HearingLife’s formal apprenticeship program, including comprehensive didactic education and extensive supervised clinical training. She is experienced in hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection and fittings, programming, verification, troubleshooting, and follow-up care. Vanessa is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered hearing healthcare and building meaningful relationships with her patients. She is passionate about helping individuals improve communication, reconnect with the people and activities they love, and enhance their overall quality of life through better hearing. Vanessa takes pride in creating personalized hearing solutions based on each patient’s individual needs and lifestyle and is committed to educating her community about hearing loss, early intervention, prevention, and lifelong hearing health.

After a horrible experience at a competitor , i had a great appointment with Camden. He was very patient with all my needs. Besides being so charismatic he was very knowledgeable in what i needed.
