Jill Benner

Au.D., FAAA, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Jill Benner graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Audiology in 2004, and a Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D) in 2009. She is an American Academy of Audiology fellow. Prior to joining HearingLife, Dr. Benner held positions as an audiologist at a local ear nose and throat (ENT) facility; as an audiology clinical trainer; and as a member of an audiology technical support team for a major hearing aid manufacturer. She is passionate about hearing devices, education, and assisting individuals in their journeys to better hearing.

Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Rachel Watson earned her Doctorate of Audiology in 2017 from West Virginia University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is skilled in a full array of diagnostic testing for hearing and balance disorders with a special interest in digital amplification and other modes of assistive listening technologies. Dr. Watson joined Hearing Life in 2022. She is passionate about the field of audiology and helping her patients achieve an improved quality of life through better hearing.

Outside of the office, Dr. Watson enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, cheering on the Mountaineers, and training for half marathons and triathlons.

Dr. Benner was a knowledgeable, professional, and caring audiologist. The price of the hearing aids recommended was VERY high in my opinion and as I am checking with friends who have hearing aids. Not sure why - there may be a good reason.

What a great experience! Dr. Benner was super nice and extremely knowledgeable. This was my first time getting hearing aids and I couldn't believe how much I was missing out on. I received a hearing test and new hearing aids on the first visit and I couldn't be happier. My wife is no longer having to raise her voice for me to hear her and the TV is back to a normal level 😆. Thank you Dr. Benner!

Well pleased with Rachel Watson. She goes the extra mile to adjust my settings and ordered a new mold for my right ear. The original mold kept falling out.

I’m well pleased with the entire staff. I feel I made the correct choice with this location.

My appointment was for hearing aid cleaning and hearing test. Dr Watson efficiently performed the hearing test and informing my hearing head not changed since last year. She then examined, tested and clean my hearing aids. When she was finished they look brand new. I'm now looking forward to my next check up in 6 months.

Very caring doctors at Hearing Life. I got my first pair of hearing aids in April 2024. Dr. Watson worked very diligently with me to make sure I got the proper fit. My left ear has a more challenging canal that makes the hearing aid fit differently than my right ear. I greatly appreciated Dr. Watson and Dr. Benner’s patience in working with me to find the exact fit. I highly recommend this office.
