Dr. Lauren Holdsworth, Au.D., earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Akron through the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC) in May 2026. As part of her doctoral education, she completed a comprehensive and rigorous externship at the Cleveland Clinic.

Born in Parma, Ohio, and raised primarily in Michigan, Dr. Holdsworth has a unique personal connection to the field of audiology. Having been diagnosed with hearing loss as an infant and wearing hearing devices since six months of age, she understands firsthand the challenges and benefits that come with hearing healthcare. Her personal experiences inspired her to pursue audiology and fueled her passion for helping others connect more fully with the world around them.

Dr. Holdsworth is dedicated to delivering individualized, person-centered care and believes in empowering people to take an active role in their hearing healthcare journey. She strives to build meaningful relationships while helping customers achieve their communication and hearing goals.

In her free time, Dr. Holdsworth enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring local Metroparks, and relaxing on the lake.

Dr Eleni is amazing! She’s very thorough and knowledgeable! Makes you feel very comfortable during the process. Her receptionist Maggie, I think that’s her name is very personable as well. I would suggest my friends and family to go to Medina Hearinglife.

My life has been changed for the better. Eleni identified my hearing issues and addressed them with ease. She was fast, polite, and was an incredible resource of information. For the first time in my life I’m no longer struggling to hear. At 29, I never thought I’d be in the place I was with hearing issues. I feel like a whole new world has opened up now! A level of hearing a comprehension has been unlocked that I never dreamed would be attainable. Thank you Eleni for everything. Because of you I no longer say “what”, “huh”, or “repeat that” every other sentence. I’m leaving work full of energy and not completely drained. I saw Dr. Santarelli for a hearing test and to talk about custom hearing protection. I'm a Audio Engineer so protecting my hearing is essential to performing my job. She was very patient and went over my options to ensure we chose the right product for my needs. I've been using them for about a week now and I'm very pleased with the quality and performance. I'd give Dr. Santarelli 10/10 for her service, professionalism, knowledge. She wasn't pushy or tried to sell me something I didn't need or want which I appreciate so much . Thank You

I have severe hearing loss and hearing life of Medina has fitted me with Oticon hearing aides that work wonderfully with my smart phone and this has greatly improved my quality of life. Moreover the fine audiologist is readily available to keep my hearing aides up and running and working at their peak. I feel fortunate to have fallen in with this fine professional and her support staff
