Free Hearing Test in Louisville
Hearing tests are free at HearingLife, so we welcome you to schedule one to see how your hearing is doing. If you’ve worked in noisy environments or your family tells you the television is too loud, it’s time to get a hearing test.
Hearing tests begin by checking your ear for earwax blockage and other physical problems. Then you’ll listen to a series of beeps at different volumes and frequencies and a list of words to see how well you hear speech. When the test is complete, your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist will explain your results and give you a copy of your audiogram.
If your hearing care expert recommends hearing aids, they will let you know and have you try a pair in our office. We recommend bringing a friend or family member for this part of the visit since a familiar voice is helpful. Your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist will also get to know your hobbies and ask you about your budget in order to recommend the right technology level and style of hearing aid for your needs.
