Dr. Deborah Brooks has been a practicing audiologist since 2001. She has worked in various settings, such as non-profit organizations; ear, nose and throat (ENT) medical offices; and private practices. Dr. Brooks earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; her master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis; and her doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University. She is originally from New York, but has practiced audiology in Georgia and Florida as well. Dr. Brooks’ areas of expertise include high-tech hearing aids, diagnostics, wireless connectivity, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation and tinnitus retraining therapy.

Dr. Brooks is affiliated with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and her dogs.

Stephanie LaForge

M.S., CCC-A, Clinical Audiologist

After earning her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut, Stephanie LaForge, M.S., CCC-A, went on to obtain her master’s degree in Audiology from the nationally recognized program at Florida State University. She quickly added to these credentials by earning licensure to practice within the state of Florida. Stephanie is a longstanding member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and the Florida Academy of Audiology.

During her nearly 25 years of caring for her customers’ hearing health at her own office, as well as in various ear, nose and throat (ENT) settings, including the Cleveland Clinic in Florida, Stephanie has unwaveringly spread the word about the profound connection between hearing health and whole-body health. As a hearing aid wearer herself, knowing the importance of hearing health and the benefits it provides to quality of life, Stephanie is passionate about her work. She keeps abreast of the latest technology and hearing solutions to provide the best hearing care options available for her customers.

Stephanie is very knowledgeable and help you make the best choice of the hearing aid that I chose I did have a problem with it and while they had it for over a month and a half was unaware that UPS started out with keeping it in their office for over a week before it got shipped out Stephanie help resolve the issue and also gave me an additional 1-year warranty on my hearing aids can't beat customer service like that

I have been to other HearingLife offices and by far this one is the best. Stephanie is an expert in her field and I felt well cared for. The staff is helpful and efficient. The waiting room is comfortable with TV, magazines, and coffee. You can't ask for anything more.
I highly recommend this location.
