About Dr. Husmita Ratanjee-Vanmali

Dr. Husmita Ratanjee-Vanmali is the Head of Audiology for the Audika Global group, part of Demant. In this role, she ensures audiological strategic and implementation projects across various countries to incorporate an audiological perspective, tailored to local needs and requirements. Dr. Ratanjee-Vanmali excels at bridging the gap between research and clinical practice, focusing on implementation sciences and considering both hearing care professionals’ and patients’ perspectives.

She earned her PhD in Tele-Audiology from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Her research delves into a hybrid hearing healthcare model that integrates online and face-to-face care throughout the patient journey, from hearing screening to rehabilitation. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented her findings at international conferences.
