Kayla Marr, of Sioux City, Iowa, has received the gift of hearing through HearingLife’s Campaign for Better Hearing.

She has been wearing hearing aids since she was 2 years old. At age 23, her hearing aids were not properly adjusted to her current hearing loss.

Marr visited the HearingLife center in Sioux City, where she was presented with hearing aids that could improve her hearing by 40%; but, unfortunately, she was unable to afford them. She was then chosen for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program, which selects a new nominee to receive free hearing aids once a month.

"To have this opportunity in general means a lot to me because I know being hearing impaired is not easy at all and [hearing aids] are expensive to have, so being able to get these today really helped me out a lot," said Kayla.
