Barbara Prince, of Claremore, OK, received the gift of a lifetime: free brand-new, technologically advanced hearing aids.

The gift came from HearingLife's Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. The program gifts hearing aids to those in need, chosen by staff at one of the over 650 HearingLife offices across the country.

Prince has struggled with hearing loss for years, but could not afford new hearing aids as a grandmother caring for her two grandchildren full-time.

“Just overwhelmed, you know,” is how Prince described the experience of receiving new hearing aids. “It's hard to describe or how to explain it. I mean, I'm handicapped to begin with, so if I could jump up and down, I'd be jumping up and down.”
