    Dispensing Audiologist Lic. #2122

    Heather Little, Au.D., CCC-A, was born and raised in San Francisco and joined HearingLife Hearing Aid Center in November of 2017. Dr. Little’s educational preparation began at California State University, Sacramento, where she was awarded her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She received her doctorate from Salus University, formerly known as Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology, in June of 2007. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a fully qualified member of the New Zealand Audiological Society, as well as the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.

    Dr. Little’s clinical experience has included working within the Sutter, Kaiser Permanente and Stanford healthcare systems, as well as overseas in New Zealand, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of clinical audiology. One of her most rewarding experiences was when she became a licensed hearing aid dispenser and began working in the private practice and retail sectors. It was at this point that she was able to truly appreciate how hearing devices can change, enhance and improve a person’s quality of life. Currently, Dr. Little specializes in both adult and geriatric diagnostic testing and amplification.

    In her spare time, she enjoys running 10K races, practicing yoga, hiking Marin, cooking, wine tasting and traveling to Spain, as well as spending time with her family in Mill Valley and San Francisco.
