Our Staff

  • Anne Beattie

    Audiologist

    Dr. Beattie earned her Master’s degree in audiology from West Virginia University and a Doctorate in audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Beattie gained knowledge working in a variety of clinical settings including a large network provider of hearing aids.  She has over three decades of experience and is knowledgeable in the latest technology in hearing aids and devices.  Patients know that she is focused on how treated hearing loss can change a person's entire world and her joy comes from helping people hear their best so they can enjoy all that life has to offer.  
  • Jonathan Schug

    Audiologist

    Dr. Schug gained his interest in hearing during his undergraduate studies in communication sciences and disorders at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He earned his doctorate in audiology at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. Dr. Schug then received advanced training in hearing and balance disorders during his fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He understand the importance of individualized, patient care. Dr. Schug is also is a little bit of a "techie" with a background in information technology so he's the in-house guru on how hearing aids work and which technology is best for your hearing and communication needs.
  • Nancy Gilliom

    Ph.D, Audiologist

    Dr. Gilliom has been practicing Audiology for over 25 years and has been  in Jacksonville Florida since 1995.   Dr. Gilliom was born in Michigan and raised in Indiana.   She earned her doctoral degree from Purdue University.  Dr. Gilliom takes pride in the results that are produced for her patient’s successful transition with hearing instruments.
  • Sara Miers

    Audiologist

    Dr. Sara Miers graduated from the University of Memphis with her Doctorate of Audiology. Prior to that, she earned her BS degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. She has extensive experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology with both pediatrics and adults, with an emphasis on hearing aid management. She believes in a holistic approach to patient care that not only emphasizes hearing healthcare but overall wellbeing. Her ultimate goal is to serve as an advocate for her patients and their families. Dr. Miers is a board certified audiologist and holds her Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In her free time, Dr. Miers and her husband enjoy spending time in the outdoors with their German Shepherd named Norman.
